National Demonstration against TRUMP

In early June, Donald Trump will receive the full gold-gilded pageantry of an official state visit to the UK. The whole shebang, including a state banquet at Buckingham Palace and talks with the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street. However not everyone is happy that the red carpet is being rolled out in our name. Donald Trump symbolises the far-right who are currently infecting international politics, with islamophobia and anti-semitism. Their politics of hate have inspired groups and individuals closer to home. As Trade Unionists we stand against their brand of politics.
There will be a national day of demonstration on Tuesday 4th June 2019, in Trafalgar Square, central London. The branch will have a limited supply of rail tickets for members. Please email [email protected] with your name and contact details by no later than noon on Friday 24th May 2019.
UPDATE: Cannot make it to London on the 4th? There will be a demonstration in Albert Square in central Manchester a 6pm on Monday 3rd July. When details arrive we will post them here.
